August 2020 Update

The team at Telluride Helitrax hopes you are having an enjoyable summer and staying healthy. We are happy to announce that we will be open for business during the 2020-2021 season. We are actively working on a COVID response plan in line with the State of Colorado guidelines to keep you safe and healthy this winter. We’re on track for a fun and socially distant heli-ski season. If you have questions about our protocols or would like to discuss concerns you may have, please feel free to reach out any time: 970.728.8377 or powder@helitrax.com. March 18, 2020 Update

In light of the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Telluride Helitrax has decided to officially end our season and not reopen for operations. Our decision follows recommendations from our state, county, health officials and out of concern for our clients, guides, staff and community.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us this winter and those that were planning to. In the end, we had a great season with consistent powder skiing, big smiles, high fives and best days ever. Thank you to our team of incredible and professional guides, staff, pilots and to our owner. We look forward to seeing and skiing with you next season!

March 15, 2020

On Saturday, the Colorado Governor ordered a closure of all ski resorts in the state due to COVID-19. In an effort to be responsible, healthy and proactive, Telluride Helitrax has decided to suspend operations through Saturday, March 21st. We will reevaluate at that time based on the current situation to deem if it is appropriate and possible to reopen for the remainder of the season.

We understand the impact of our decision and will be offering full refunds for any of our clients with reservations, no questions asked. If you currently have a reservation scheduled for after the 21st and would like to wait and see what happens, we understand. No matter what is decided on the 21st, you can still cancel your reservation at any time for a full refund.

We thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time. Telluride Helitrax is grateful for our season to date, filled with incredible skiing, the best clients we could ask for, the greatest guides, staff and ownership in the industry and so much more. Thanks to each and every person who has joined us and become a part of the Helitrax family. We apologize for any inconvenience but look forward to seeing you next winter.
